Pew Pew Tower was developed during the HTML5 Game Jam Paris 2011 week-end by @ard (Poland).
It’s a full Canvas Game and the goal is to attack the other tower.
Hard work made on ground destruction on bullet impact.
You can play from 2 to 8 players and @ard is implementing websockets for multiplayer sessions !
A great Job !
Well, after 2 complete days of work (And 3 hours of sleep), the Paris Game Jam 2011 just finished.
During this contest, I’ve developed a Shoot’em Up Game in HTML5 based on the old Tyrian Game.
Sketchout is just beautiful and a little bit addictive ![]()
The goal is really simple : protect your planet with the ‘pong styled’ cursor from dark planet attacks and destroy this one to pass current level.
The game is really fluid even if it’s in fullscreen and animations are just really cute.
WordSquared is a really good example of multiplayer game using websockets.
The game table is quasimently infinite and you can play in real time with other players.
Great !
Hey ! Gif Tower Defense is a only javascript game writed with the processingjs framework.
The goal is to neutralize pictures with lasers placed with the mouseclick.
Really addictive and try to touch the 10 levels
OpenOdyssey is a really cool Game made with Mibbu Javascript Game Framework.
Made in 5 days and 5 nights, the result is funny and addictive !
In order to increase user experience, it’s really interesting to play music or sample sounds on actions call.
For that, I’ll show you how to use the Soundmanager2.js toolkit : load it, declare sounds, convert for html5 native support, play sounds…
Berts Breakdown is a happy platform game with a big blue happy monster looking for coins.
Have fun
